Pop's Shop EP was written and recorded between 4/22/17 - 4/26/17 when Matt Maddox and La Dog were in southern California during a medical emergency concerning their father. Spending the days by his side in the ICU, the brothers would return to their father's workshop at night, where they would write this very personal project. The last day before La Dog had to return to his family, the brothers went to Ill-Remedy Studios and recorded the entire EP with Rawz. They were able to record this entire project in one day.
